Internist (Part Time)Silver Hill Hospital, a nationally prominent psychiatric hospital in New Canaan, CT, is seeking a half-time internal medicine or fa! mily medicine physician. Silver Hill is a private, not-for-profit hospital that admits approximately 2500 patients annually. It has a medical staff of 12 full-time and 4 part-time attending psychiatrists, 20 "moonlighting" psychiatrists for evening and weekend coverage and 2 part-time pain specialists.The role of the internal medicine [family practice] physician will be to conduct physical examinations on approximately 5-7 patients on weekdays, to manage co-occurring medical problems and to interact with nearby general medical hospitals when patient transfers to or from Silver Hill as indicated.The Hospital provides benefits, including medical and dental plans, pension plan, vacation, personal and sick days. Salaries are competitive.
