NOW HIRING: Onsite Resident Manager (Bilingual: Spanish & English)

Compensation: 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. Manager's Monthy Rent: $600. Hourly rate: $16.04. Work Hours: 4 hours per day, 5 days per week, for a total of 20 hours per week (Business hours Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM). Time off: During your first year of employment, you will accrue 10 days of paid vacation time (40 hours, 4 hour days). You are also entitled to up to 6 sick days (24 hours) paid each year. Property:18 units - currently 1 vacant. 3-Floor multi-family building, underground gated garage parking, washer and dryer available in each unit, small dogs and cats okay, onsite gym, small recreational room (no swimming pool). Small fridge, stove, and microwave included in manager's unit,

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years prior on-site apartment management experience
  • Bilingual, Spanish and English.
  • Strong fair housing background, and knowledge of property management procedures and laws.
  • Valid CA Driver License, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance
  • Outlook and Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • AppFolio experience – preferred.
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
  • Must be a team player (we work in a strong and positive environment as a team).
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong time management skills.
  • No smoking!


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise any outside worker or company performing services on the premises.
  • Communicate with the tenants, prepare tenant notices, collect, and post rents.
  • Show and rent vacant units (which includes preparation of prospective tenant application and rental agreements for submission to the office).
  • Complete daily walk-throughs of the property and detail any items or areas that need repairs, replacements, etc. Perform light maintenance.
  • Always keep property grounds clean and presentable.
